Closing In

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, I find that I'm closing in on something I started, Started in the moment before, I conceived all these lessons and the meanings, Of these dreams, And only if we try we might, See all the things that manifested, On our way, So will you even be there, If I call you back on the receiving end of, Of the ride that we're moving, And we're moving through time, At the speed of light and it is feeling fine, Dreams they reel, Feelings they peel me open, And they show why light, It's been easy, Conceiving a new idea of the one, That comes home, Of the ones you call love, And I'm hoping to let go of all these inconsistencies, That I'm holding, As I look inside, As I walk right by, As I notice why, I'm here and then I'm gone, A moment passes, A moment barely lasts, Show me the week of life, Yawn*
